Attention, carefully aimed.

When we rate an operator, we write them into the record: one long-form field report, held to the same standard as everything else we publish — and a few durable things they keep.

The field report

A full transmission about the work — written by us, in our words, researched like we were buying. Subjects check facts, not adjectives.

A permanent address

The report lives here for good, with clean links out to the subject's own site. No campaigns, no expiry, no decay. Link rot is a choice; we decline it.

Words to reuse

Every feature ships with pull-quotes and excerpts cut to travel — LinkedIn-sized, plain-spoken, yours to post. Quote us freely; that is rather the point.

No rate card

This page cannot be bought. Features are earned by the work, arrive by introduction, and cost exactly nothing. That is what keeps them worth having.

Named, so far.

Eight operators we've put in writing. Most of hoishi stays quiet — this page is different. It exists precisely to be seen.

Paul — ReplyOS

One engineer, twenty AI agents, and a revenue-recovery machine for UK dental practices that behaves like a firm ten times its size. Twenty years of scar tissue turned out to be the moat.

Rebecca — HR Ready

Twenty-five years of boardroom HR judgment, rebuilt as a department growing companies can plug in — options instead of answers, for the stretch between the fifth hire and the fifteenth.

Dave — Parachute

An authentication platform trusted by fifty thousand businesses, then a workspace for the profession that couldn't touch AI — security certified before scale, groundwork automated, the advice still the lawyer's.

Pulkit — Tsenta

Three thousand hand-filed job applications, systematised into an agent that watches fifty thousand career pages and applies first — transparent, receipted, and priced per application.

Hollie — National Safety Academy

Ten years of safety education, rebuilt from first principles — real-task assessments graded pass-or-refer, and a volunteer net strung under the profession's newcomers.

"Some of the people on this page are friends. Some we've simply studied from a distance. All of them earned the page — and the light is for them, not for us."

Building something
quietly excellent?

We find most features through introductions, and the rest by reading. If someone pointed you here — or you think we should be reading you — open a channel — Stephen reads everything that comes through it. The worst case is a polite no.
